In the current version of the Deforestation, Climate and Agriculture application it is not possible to evaluate the isolated effects of the Cerrado deforestation on rainfall and Brazilian agricultural productivity.
The effects of deforestation and global warming on the local climate vary each month throughout the year. Thus, the effects on soybean yield is dependent on the planting date, which makes this information essential for estimating the effects of climate changes on soybeans.
The acronym RCP means "Representative Concentration Pathways". They describe the trajectories of greenhouse gas concentration in the future and were used by the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) in its Fifth Assessment Report. Here we use the scenarios RCP26, more optimistic, and RCP85, more pessimistic.
The DCA platform was developed with a standard 1920x1080 resolution to be viewed perfectly on screens from 15 ". Avoid using the DCA on smaller screens or try rotating the screen of your mobile device to improve the viewing of the maps.
